I'm a hobby photographer from the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. Although I've been snapping images most of my life, I didn't start taking it more serious until I was in my mid 30's. A couple of years ago we were at the Lake Michigan lakeshore on a nice weekend and I took some images of the local lighthouse, it really turned out nice so we decided to travel north to the next one, then the next one. . . well fast forward a couple years and I've shot almost all the lighthouse in Michigan, we still have a few to go, most of the ones left are very difficult to get too.
